NICE WEATHER CONTINUES WITH ABUNDANT SUNSHINE AND WARM TEMPERATURES….
Today has featured plenty of sunshine with a very warm (for
November) breeze and rising humidity levels. It certainly feels
more like September out there today with well above normal
temperatures and as mentioned, a touch of humidity.
The record high temperature for today is 77F set in 1987, and so
far we’ve come within 1F degree of tying the record. Dew point
values were rising through the 50s during the morning, reaching
the mid 50s before some mixing from aloft kicked in causing
values to drop a little bit early this afternoon.
Winds have been fairly steady out of the southwest. The average
speed for the day so far is around 12mph. Wind became a bit more
gusty late this morning and continues into this afternoon. The
peak gust for the day so far is 25mph, which occurred a couple
of times since noon-time.
Visibility is again a bit limited today with the view holding
between 40-50 miles throughout the day.
The maximum temperature so far today is 76F, which is 22 degrees
above the normal high of 54F. The minimum temperature since
midnight is 53F, which is 16 degrees above the normal low of 37F.
